Collection and use of personal information from customers, suppliers and other contractors
We like to make you aware of the fact that any personal information provided to us, will be collected and used to carry out and fulfill agreements. This applies to our (potential) customers and parties to whom we purchase goods and/or services.
In case you are a (potential) customer of us, we will use your information to send you an offer, to be able to control which specifications or requests a particular case or service must meet, in order to provide business or work for you, to be able to invoice, and to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently on implementing aspects of the agreement.
Are you a contractor or potential supplier, then your personal data will also be necessary for the conclusion and implementation of the agreement. At purchase this is necessary to be able to let you know what specifications or wishes as far as we are concerned a particular case or service must meet, send a request for quotation or an order to you, pay your bills, be able to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently, or about other aspects of the agreement.
You are not required to provide us with your personal data. If you provide us no or insufficient personal data, then it is possible that we cannot implement the aforementioned work.
Collection, use, and retention of personal data of business relations
We also like to make note that the personal information you provide us, will be collected and used because you have given us permission to do so, or because this is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests. We process the following information: name, address and contact details.
If you are a business relation to us, then we use your information to contact you for purposes that are in the interests of our company. For example, for discussing a possible collaboration, providing and obtaining information and the maintenance of our network.
You are not required to provide us with your personal data. If you provide us no or insufficient personal data, then it is possible that we cannot implement the aforementioned purposes. Your data will be deleted one year after the last contact.
Transfer to third parties
In connection with the performance of any agreement with you we may need to provide your personal information to parties who supply parts, materials and products to us or on our behalf. Furthermore, we use remote server space for the storage of (parts of) our sales and purchase department and contacts file, where your personal information could be a part of. Your personal information is provided to our server space provider. Furthermore, we use Microsoft Office and the associated storage for emails and other files. Because we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data will be finally passed to the provider of this service, provided you have given us permission to do so.
If you opt-in to our newsletter, we will use and store personal data you specify. We will use the data to send you news about our company, our products and services and to make you an offer. Every time we send you an advertising mailing, you have the option to let us know you no longer want to receive these mailings. See the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each mailing.
Personal data retention period
If you requested a quote with us but you have not become our client, we will delete your data ten years after our last contact. Also if we have received a quotation from you, but we have not become your customer, we will delete your personal data ten years after our last contact. Are you a customer of us or we are your customer, then we will keep your personal information for the duration of ten years after the end of the fiscal year in which the agreement with you is fully implemented. The ten-year period corresponds to the period after which we destroy our records of that period.
You have the right to ask us to show you your own personal data stored by us. If necessary, you can also ask us to supplement your personal data or to change any inaccuracies. In addition, you have the right to ask to delete your personal information or the use of your personal data. You can also object to the collection and use of your information or make a complaint to the Authority for personal data. Finally, you can ask us for a copy of your personal data or the transfer of this data to another party.
